Holiday Mini Bar

I saw this in a catalog and had crazy ideas how to duplicate at a fraction of the cost.

Overhead shot of the mini bar.

Close up of the deer, purchased at Rite Aid Pharmacy at 50% off, only $5.00 for each.

Close up of Christmas Tree.  Purchased at Kmart, Sandra Lee collection at 50% off for only $10.00!

The picture above and below are close ups of the flower ringlet around bottom of tree.  You guessed it!  Kmart, in the ornament isle Jacelyn Smith for $2.50.  It's actually a candle ring.

Sorry but the round silver planter on the left was from a wedding about 15 years ago!

Hunted all over for a "cheaper" version of Pottery Barn's lanterns.  Pier 1 (15") for oh gosh, forgot the price but pretty sure under $30.  Definitely get the candle there because you won't find it anywhere else without going to yes Pottery Barn, ($10.00 at Pier 1).  Then add your bark, branches, misc items.  You can even add pictures of your family!

Hope you all enjoyed the pictures!  I loved stumbling across these items for far less than the catalogs.

The ADK Fall 2012

The ADK (Adirondaks) this past weekend.  The foliage was beautiful.  I'm just sorry to admit that my pictures aren't quite what they could be!  Enjoy anyway.

A Day in NYC via Richshaw

We took a Richshaw through NY's Central Park!

The Fountain in Central Park was absolutely beautiful!

This was one of the carved murals under the bridge by the fountain.

One of my dear sisters Kathy!

A few of my other sisters, Janet & Kathleen!

The fountain at Lincoln Arts Center!

One of our Richshaw Drivers! I highly recommend doing this at least once.
I never knew how much history was in the Park!
